We’re hiring a General Manager!
Overview
Oversee the daily operations of the market, including food preparation, customer service, and inventory management
Ensure that all food is prepared and served according to company standards and health regulations
Train and supervise market staff, providing guidance and support as needed
Monitor sales and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes
Collaborate with the culinary team to develop and update menu offerings based on customer preferences and market trends
Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely delivery of supplies
Maintain a clean and organized market environment, adhering to sanitation guidelines
Qualifications
Previous experience in a leadership role within the food service industry, preferably in a market or restaurant setting
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, culinary trends, and health regulations
Proficiency with ECRS POS or similar point-of-sale systems
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers, staff, and vendors
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Strong organizational skills to manage inventory, schedules, and budget
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
