We’re hiring a General Manager!

 

Overview

  • Oversee the daily operations of the market, including food preparation, customer service, and inventory management

  • Ensure that all food is prepared and served according to company standards and health regulations

  • Train and supervise market staff, providing guidance and support as needed

  • Monitor sales and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes

  • Collaborate with the culinary team to develop and update menu offerings based on customer preferences and market trends

  • Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely delivery of supplies

  • Maintain a clean and organized market environment, adhering to sanitation guidelines

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a leadership role within the food service industry, preferably in a market or restaurant setting

  • Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, culinary trends, and health regulations

  • Proficiency with ECRS POS or similar point-of-sale systems

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers, staff, and vendors

  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

  • Strong organizational skills to manage inventory, schedules, and budget

  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
